My base color is balck, I was lokking for chemical-free hair dye and finally, i could trust Organic Roots. I did two-step method. On the first step Preped hair with organic roots’ lava henna . Applied henna for three hours. After henna wash, I did 2nd step of indigo. Applied indigo for 2 hours for my desire black shade. Extremely Happy
My base hair is color black. My desire color brown. My white hair excessively pre-mature white. I did a two-step method. I applied henna for 3 hours and indigo on the 2nd step for 30 minutes. I am very satisfied with end result though i want it choclate brown. So next time I will apply indigo for 40 minutes to get a bit darker shade. as henna indigo gets dark with reapplication.
I followed the two-step method to achieve the nearest to natural color and successfully achieved my desirous color on the first go. I also did detox wash treatment prior to henna and indigo treatment. I live in a hard water area and oragnic roots suggested to do detox treatment before henna and indigo procedure. I did wonders.
Natural hair color black,80% white hair. I did a two-step method. Divided both steps in two days. on the First step achieved henna orange shade and the next day on 2nd step i applied indigo for 20 minutes. Very happy with end results. More Over my hair feels so healthy and voluminous.
This Is a story about my damaged hair due to excessive exposure to chemicals and getting premature grey hair as a nsequence. Then I found Henna and indigo hair dye method that transformed my hair into beautiful lush hair. I am deeply in love with both plants. Look at my transformation in picture
I always do two-step method for my grey hair coverage with henna and indigo. Henna is such a unique plant that it gives potentially different shades in different Indoor lights and sunlight. I thought to share with all of you.
Oh, the color is so good with the two-step method I followed, moreover, it is zero damage to hair. As natural hair dye, nothing can beat henna and indigo combination. The best thing you get white hair coverage along with hair repair and you get the best version of your hair.
I was having very thin hair and damaged due to chemical hair dyes…I was willing to convert to a natural grey coverage method( zero chemical).
My first experience with this product was dishearting because I got poor coverage of grey hair…I had gotten this desired color on 4rth attempt. I researched a lot on this subject and having quite a realistic approach towards this method. I knew that few hairs take more application to get adjusted with natural products
I followed the Initially one-step method of hendigo then later I followed the two-step method for the rest application. I applied henna on roots for hours and indigo for 1 to 2 hours to convert that orange into dark brown.
I had naturally golden hair and also lots of white hair. I used Golden Brown Kit and here goes my results. I applied this mixture for 4 hours.
I was fed up with my chemically treated streaked hair that was giving a faded yellow color right after a few months . My hair was damaged and lifeless. I was having few white strands too. I never wanted to go for chemical hair dyes to even tone my hair color nearest to my natural dark brown shade.
Rather than grey hair coverage, I was more interested to even tone her overall hair color ditching chemical dyes. I was told the whole procedure of henna and indigo by organic roots and I followed it properly. I was satisfied with the final color and very happy to achieve this natural shade without chemical. My hair feels much better.
I have 40% white hair. I wanted to get rid of chemical hair dyes. I used Organic Roots and i am very satisfied with my hair repair and beautiful hair color. I do one step method for auburn shade. Main aik puray packet hina ko prep ker ke lagane se phle iss mein 1 /3rd indigo daal k one step method ko follow krti hun….or 4 to 5 hours lagaey rakhti hun. Ager kabhi roots se kuch strand lighter color ke re jaye tu kissi bhe Next wash mai khali Indigo paste thora sa dab ker leti hon for 10 minutes before wash. It works best for me.
I am sharing my experience with a cry of joy. I can not believe that i can now achieve my black shade with a natural method. I was looking for a natural solution for such a long time. I tried all kinds of totkas. nothing worked except henna and indigo combination.
I have a 90 % white head. I decided to give try organic Roots’ products and wanted to test their chemical-free claim. I was seriously allergic to chemical hair dyes. I wanted to have a brown shade. I tried the one-step method but I was failed though the experience was smooth as I never had faced allergy issues.
I was not disappointed. As per instructions given by their customer service I gave it another chance. Did the two-step method this time. and applied henna for two hours and on 2nd step applied indigo just for 20 minutes. Now I am extremely satisfied by results.
I am so happy with the result. I am extremely sensitive to any Synthetic hair dye so I was using earlier another brand in the USA that also deals in henna and indigo. and your product is as amazing as it was. It was double in price then yours but your quality is similar.
On your request, I would love to share my experience and method with the rest of my brothers.
My method of applying is simple and quick which takes anything between 1:45 to 2:30 max as it Al depends on weather/temperature.
1: mix Henna with Luke warm water.
2: apply on beard for 1 hrs (all the way to roots)
3: after about 45 min, I mixed indigo with Luke warm water and set aside
4: rinse beard after 1 hrs with water
5: dry with a towel
6: apply Indigo (all the way to roots)
7: let it dry for 1-1:30 hrs (I do use dryer due to cold weather but need nothing if the weather is hot)
A very special tips….!
1: sometimes I do get indigo result green or brown instead of black which is purely due to cold weather or indigo wasn’t mixed proper… So no panic… Just use a hair dryer to heat up hair at the effected color area… Or sit in sunshine…and that it… You’ll get the desired result in few minutes.
My advice for men’s since they are busy or don’t have much spare time… Apply at night/eve, in that case, they will get their desired result by the next morning! That’s it from me 🙂
